What does being polyamorous look like for you?

Being polyamorous is no one-size-fits all poncho off the rack at Walmart about to show your body off with the most ill-flattering cuts there are. While there are some terms you might have heard before, like Kitchen Table Polyamory (where everyone can be pictured around a kitchen table in a loose network of people who love each other), polyamory is completely about custom-fitting relationships to you.

For instance, my most recent break-up with the Mistress. She and I remained friends. We are soul mates. But! We have never had sex, never held each other’s faces close and kissed sensually, never never never. We tried to make M/s work and when it didn’t? We got to try being friends. Or are still getting to try. It remains to be seen, but I’ll keep you updated.
